I am an energetic and imaginative French and ICT teacher who is able to work alongside other talented professionals in designing lesson plans to the very highest standards. I am ambitious, determined and will persist to ensure lessons are delivered to a high standard.
I’m qualified with a Purchasing and Business degree (French University), a Diploma in French language (French School language), and a British teaching qualification. I teach French up to degree level and prepare students for tests and exams. I am enthusiastic and versatile with a positive attitude towards challenging students to achieve good results. I am passionate about my profession and believe I can bring creativity to lesson planning and motivating students.
I have a passion for the French language and really enjoy working with young people; I want to make a difference in their lives. In our days, it’s very challenging for pupils to learn different languages to improve their communication skills. Also, languages will prepare them to be more competitive in the worldwide job market. In addition, they will have the chance to become fluent in another language and to succeed in life.
My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually.
In my free time, I like challenges and solving technical problems. I really enjoy entering competitions and quizzes. I love cooking good food and baking cakes and treats. I love sports and I like to exercise regularly. I am also a very sociable person who values true friendship.
