The Benefits of Choosing Cambridge Home School
Since our inception in 2002, we’ve had a razor-sharp focus on providing a quality British online education to students living in London. We offer four competitive homeschooling programs: Primary Prep/Key Stage 2 (ages 8–10), Lower School/Key Stage 3 (ages 11–13), Upper School/IGCSEs (ages 14–16), and Sixth Form/AS & A-Levels (ages 17–19).
At Cambridge Home School, we keep our classroom size small. Each class comprises 8–10 pupils. By keeping the student-teacher ratio low, we ensure that every student receives one-on-one attention from their teacher. This is imperative.
In most conventional schools, the student-teacher ratio is extremely high. In some cases, classrooms comprise up to 30 students. As a result, students fail to receive individualized teaching support and guidance. Teachers often never pick up on each student’s unique learning weaknesses and strengths, which prevents them from helping students achieve their full potential.
We steer clear of this approach. Since our classrooms are small, our teachers get a chance to engage with each student on a personal level. The learning process is more focused, attentive, involved, and interactive. This helps our students concentrate better in class, absorb more knowledge, and retain their lessons.
Our Masters/PhD qualified subject specialist teachers also use advanced online learning software systems to help students have an enriching learning experience. For younger students, we utilize audio-visual tools that further stimulate interest.
