1. Ample Flexibility
In many conventional schools in Karachi, students attend protracted lessons and return home feeling overwhelmed, tired, and worn out. Theoretically speaking, longer lessons sound like the recipe for academic growth. In actuality, keeping students in school for longer than the intended duration backfires.
They get tired easily, feel overworked, and develop burnout. Parents living in Karachi have high expectations from their children. Unfortunately, teachers use the wrong approach to meet these expectations. In some cases, verbal, emotional, and even physical force is used.
At Cambridge Home School Online, we’re strongly against the culture of overworking students. We teach a balanced curriculum to help students develop an academic edge. Owing to the comprehensiveness and completeness of our curriculum, we don’t keep students in school for longer durations. Our classes begin and end on time.
We believe academic growth should always be combined with personal and social development. If a student secures top grades but gets little to no time for personal and social enrichment, their mental health can decline over time. Students are curious, creative beings. Their personal and social interests must be fuelled, not dampened.
Once our students finish their classes for the day, they get ample time to explore their hobbies and interests, socialise with their friends, develop new skills, play sports and games, tap into their artistic and creative inclinations, go on explorations and excursions, and so on.
We don’t restrict students to their books. Instead, we encourage them to have diverse experiences after school. Our flexible approach helps students maintain a healthy school-life balance. They work hard and play hard.
