Known for its beautiful architecture, friendly locals, shipbuilding prowess, booming industries, quintessential charm, and vibrant nightlife, Glasgow is one of the best places to live in the UK.

Since our inception in 2002, we’ve had the pleasure of teaching thousands of students from Glasgow. Our teachers always reach the same consensus: Glaswegians possess immense talent. At Cambridge Home School Online, we have proudly turned this talent into excellent grades and a successful academic future for countless students living in Glasgow.

The information below will help you understand why online schooling is on the rise in Glasgow. If you’re a parent, you’ll understand whether online learning is suitable for your children. If you’re a student, we’ll help you determine whether you should make the switch to the online homeschooling system or not. Let’s continue.

1. Safety

Compared to the conventional schooling model, the online learning system offers greater safety. Students can learn from the safety and comfort of their homes. As a result, the risk of virus contraction, bullying, harassment, abuse, discrimination, peer pressure, and ostracisation is eliminated.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, parents are immensely concerned about their children’s safety. Additionally, school bullying has been on the rise across the UK. By choosing the online schooling model for their children, parents can provide them with a safe, quality education that doesn’t put their physical safety or emotional well-being at risk.

At CHS Online, we schedule safe online classes for students. Additionally, our MA/MSc/PhD qualified subject specialist teachers expertly moderate the classes to eliminate the risk of bullying or abuse among students. You don’t have to worry about your children’s safety as a parent.

2. Flexibility

Every student craves a healthy school-life balance. Unfortunately, students are often deprived of flexibility in their schooling model. Today, many conventional schools in Glasgow offer minimal flexibility to students. Pupils attend protracted lessons at school and return home feeling tired and overwhelmed.

Striking the right school-life balance is difficult. However, many online schools are getting this balance just right today. As an online institution, we strongly focus on student mental health. We believe that academic excellence is pivotal. However, it shouldn’t come at the cost of personal and social growth.

Our students aren’t overworked. Instead, they reap the benefits of a healthy school-life balance that helps them achieve all three types of growth: academic, personal, and social.

3. Stellar Grades

To receive excellent grades, students must be equipped with the right teaching support and resources. At Cambridge Home School Online, we do just that. Our students are taught by a team of committed, hardworking, and dedicated MA/MSc/PhD teachers.

Additionally, each student receives 24/7 access to our wide online library of educational resources. Students can explore thousands of carefully selected and compiled videos, previous catch-up lessons, PowerPoint presentations, study guides, past papers, and a wide range of other resources. These tools help pupils revise better and keep the learning process going even after their classes end for the day.

Our students continually impress us by performing exceptionally well in school. In June 2021, 86% of our IGCSE students secured A*s and As in their target subjects. 83% of our A Level students secured two As and a B or higher, as requested by top universities. Moreover, all students who applied received offers from some of the world’s best universities. We couldn’t be more proud of our incredibly talented students from Glasgow.

As stated earlier, online schooling helps students excel in different areas of their life, not just one. Since students are granted greater flexibility, they retain higher energy levels throughout the day. Instead of feeling tired throughout the day, students feel energised, alert, and active. Once their classes end for the day, they socialise with their friends, play sports, explore new hobbies and interests, develop their skills, and become excellent learners.

Every student should have the time and energy to achieve extracurricular growth. At CHS Online, we make this a priority. Our students secure top grades and enjoy their life beyond academic excellence. As a result, they become happy, curious, and creative learners. We ensure that our students don’t leave school feeling drained. This is one of the biggest differentiators between conventional and online learning.

5. Focused Learning

At CHS Online, we’re very intentional about our teaching approach. Our student-teacher ratio is particularly low. Each classroom comprises 8–10 students, no more. This approach helps ensure that every pupil reaps the benefits of one-on-one learning. Students attend engaging, well-structured, and retentive lessons.

We use an independent, interdisciplinary, well-rounded curriculum to cover more ground, enabling students to learn more comprehensively. They’re exposed to new topics and subtopics that the national curriculum fails to cover. Moreover, our classes are carefully planned and well-focused. Collectively, these techniques help our students learn and perform better in class, on their tests, and in upcoming grad school interviews.

Whether you’re interested in online primary schools in the UK, online classes for secondary education, IGCSE schooling, or A Level programs, you can rest assured that Cambridge Home School Online is the right institution for your children.
