Mrs Goodhead
I am Mrs. Goodhead and I am a Level 3 Chemistry Teacher at Cambridge Home School. I first worked as an analytical chemist in NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance), Mass Spectrometry and Infrared Analysis. I entered teaching when our local school, which our four children attended, asked me to help them with some practicals. I gradually became more and more involved until I eventually ended up as Head of Department for Science. At home and at school, we had tremendous fun making smoke bombs, rockets, touch powder, and playing with electronics. I have always been fascinated with how things work and this is what made me interested in science. I hope to convey this love of science and the natural world in our lessons and look forward to sharing a year of Chemistry with you.
