Dr Elerian

I have a Ph.D. in International Relations and European Studies, and a Master’s degree in History. I spent 10 years teaching History and Geography in international schools where I was responsible for the development, internationalisation and implementation of courses in History, Geography, Sociology, and Media Studies from Key Stage 3 up to IGCSE and A-level. Having completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, I have a pedagogical competence in lesson planning and implementation, assessment, class management, and resource development. I am an Examiner and Assessment Specialist for Cambridge Assessment International Education. Moreover, I have been involved in various international educational programs, such as Model United Nations, European Youth Parliament, and International Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

My knowledge and experience allows me to relate effectively to students’ diverse cultural backgrounds and address diverse audiences. I specialise in the fields of International and Intercultural Education. I publish my work in International Schools Journal, as well as academic peer-reviewed journals where I also act as a peer reviewer. I am a member of the British Society for Educational Studies, and a member of the Roster of professionals for the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research.

I find teaching to be a rewarding career and feel privileged to be influential in so many young lives. I am always focused on creating effective and differentiated lessons that both challenge and stimulate a wide range of abilities within my classroom.
