Mrs Liddell
Hi. I’m Mrs Liddell and I live in Northumberland with my husband and dog. I have been teaching for over twenty years in secondary schools in the North East of England. My specialist subjects are Business Studies and ICT. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to take on several different roles in schools, including Head of Business and IT, SENDCO, and Pastoral Head. I have also been a GCSE examiner throughout my career. I currently mark for AQA GCSE Business.
I am now enjoying the exciting transition to online teaching. I am truly passionate about the learning that takes place in my classroom, whether it be face-to-face or online. I believe that my experience and enthusiasm for my subjects will continue to inspire and engage students in the virtual learning environment.
Outside of teaching, I have a variety of interests that keep me active and inspired. I enjoy walking my old dog, Brian, and love to exercise, including running. I completed my first half marathon last year. Additionally, in my spare time I like to read, and I enjoy experimenting with making healthy foods. Traveling is another passion of mine, and my favourite destination is Deia in Majorca. Beyond teaching, I also manage a holiday let business, renting out holiday cottages situated on the beautiful Northumberland Coast.
