Miss Schaefer
With over seven years of experience teaching English language and literature, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students across various educational settings. My journey began with a passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring learners to reach their full potential. Throughout these years, I have taught a range of topics within the subject and set texts, with a special focus on developing students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills in English. I continually adapt my approach to suit the needs and abilities of each class and individual.
In particular, I have extensive experience teaching both GCSE and A Level English, guiding students through the demands of each curriculum. My work has involved preparing pupils for examinations, delivering targeted revision sessions, and supporting learners of varying abilities to achieve their academic goals. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of exam specifications and assessment objectives, enabling me to tailor lessons effectively and ensure consistently strong outcomes for my classes.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my experience has been fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, where students feel encouraged to participate and express their ideas. I believe that education is not just about imparting information, but also about nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning skills.
