I have been teaching Business since 2009, supporting students across GCSE, A Level, BTEC and other vocational qualifications. During this time, I have helped learners of all abilities develop their confidence, improve their understanding of key business concepts and achieve success in their studies.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a range of exam boards and qualifications, giving me a strong understanding of assessment requirements and what examiners are looking for. I particularly enjoy helping students improve their exam technique by developing stronger analysis, evaluation and application skills. My lessons focus on making Business relevant by linking theory to real-world examples and current events. I believe students learn best when they can see how topics such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship and strategy apply to the businesses around them.
Alongside teaching, I work as an examiner and run my own tutoring business, which allows me to continue supporting students on an individual basis. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy travelling, following developments in business and finance, and spending time with my family.
