A Bespoke Approach to Early Education in KS1

At CHS Pre-Prep, we believe in teaching the children in front of us.

Our bespoke approach means that learning is carefully planned around the needs of each child and cohort, ensuring every pupil is supported, challenged, and inspired to thrive. With classes capped at just 10 children and weekly one-to-one teaching included, every child benefits from truly personalised attention.

Rather than expecting children to fit a predetermined programme, we adapt our teaching to reflect the children we teach, helping them develop confidence, independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Small classes. Big ambitions.
Exceptional care.

Why Parents Choose CHS Pre-Prep

Five things that set our youngest school apart.

👥 Weekly 1:1 Teaching Included

Every child receives dedicated one-to-one teaching time as part of their programme, allowing us to celebrate strengths, address misconceptions, and personalise learning.

📚 Classes Capped at 10

Children thrive when they are known. Our small classes allow meaningful participation, strong relationships, and high-quality teaching tailored to individual needs.

❤️ Parent Partnership

We work alongside families to build children’s confidence and independence. Parents are valued partners in their child’s learning journey.

⭐ Personalised Learning

Learning is adapted to reflect each child’s interests, strengths, and developmental stage. Teaching groups remain flexible so children feel secure while continuing to progress.

🌐 UK Curriculum and Beyond

Children learn the skills required by the UK National Curriculum through engaging, enquiry-based learning that encourages deeper thinking.

Life in Pre-Prep

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Learning with Wellbeing at its Heart

We believe young children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and understood.

🏠

Family Balance

Our shorter school day provides a balance between academic challenge and the time children need for family life, play, creativity, and rest.

💻

Healthy Screen Habits

Screen-based learning is carefully balanced with discussion, practical tasks, offline activities, and independent exploration.

😊

Online Safety

As an online school, safeguarding and digital wellbeing are central to everything we do.

Support and Stretch

Every child is different.

📚 Additional Support

Some children need additional support. Our flexible teaching groups and personalised planning ensure that children are working at the right level, building secure foundations.

🚀 Greater Challenge

We work closely with families to ensure that children who are academically advanced continue to be stretched whilst developing socially and emotionally alongside their peers.
