Description
Both practical and theoretical, the course reaches students anatomy and physiology, movement skills and contemporary studies in sport. Students apply theoretical knowledge to team and individual sports activities and analyse the factors influencing their performance.
Assessment
Teacher assessments are continuous during LIVE TAUGHT lessons, marking of coursework and assignments and summative tests.
Homework
Homework will be given at the end of each week, usually in the form of researching key concepts, quizzes for recapitulation and subject related fun, completion of coursework.
Reporting
Parents have 24 /7 access to all of their children’s coursework, grades and teacher feedback. Additionally parents can arrange consultations with teachers at mutually convenient times.
In addition to their exploration of anatomy and physical performance, students will build and explain global trends in Physical Education and Sport.

The Teacher
Dr. Brown is a passionate biologist and is a keen sportswoman who enjoys running, netball and horse riding. Her extensive knowledge of biological systems and anatomy coupled with her ability to explain it in an exciting way ensure a successful and fun course for all budding sports scientists.
